Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin relaxes the wrinkles that appear on the face as a result of normal facial movements. This toxin blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscle when injected into the muscles.
What type of Botulinum toxins are available?
Type A: Botox(Vistabel), Xeomin (Bococuture), Dysport (Azzalure)
Type B: Neurobloc: not approved for cosmetic usage anywhere.
What areas can be treated with Botulinum Toxin?
Upper 1/3rd of the face
Crows feet around the eyes
Frown lines
Wrinkles on the forehead and between the eyebrows
